The Global Z Recording Project Database is a website I developed for The Global Z Recording Project company. They required an intuitive and manageable database to upload and organize information about their extensive collection of microphones.
The database needed to support various media types, including images, videos, audio files, documents, and detailed information about each microphone. It had to be flexible and user-friendly, allowing easy uploads and management of all these media files.
To meet these requirements, I built the website using WordPress, leveraging its MySQL database for storing posts and media. WordPress is known for its ease of use and management capabilities, and it supports uploading all types of media files. To better cater to my clients’ needs, I installed a WordPress plugin that allows the database administrator to reorganize the database entries (posts) in alphabetical order or any custom order, instead of the default chronological order.
